Here's a game you can play:

Which one of these skulls belongs to this dinosaur?

This fossil skeleton was found at Dinosaur National Monument in Utah. It belongs to one of a group of meat-eating dinosaurs known as theropods.

Its front legs are small and short, but each of its three fingers end in a powerful claw that could be used as a weapon. Its back legs are large and powerful, but it was probably not a speedy animal.

This skeleton is almost 35 feet long.

Which one of the skulls belongs to this dinosaur?

What's a Theropod?

Theropods
The theropods were a group of carnivorous (meat-eating) dinosaurs that walked on two legs. They typically had hollow bones, a short neck, long powerful legs, and clawed feet.

The theropods lived in many different parts of the world and existed for many millions of years. In fact, a small group of them may have evolved into birds.

You can recognize many theropod skulls by their sharp, pointed teeth.
